I'm Jose Pulido, a Shopify developer and tech lead from Venezuela. I've spent 9 years building for the web — most of it on Shopify, working remotely with agencies and brands in the United States and Mexico. For two of those years I led the development team on Shopify Plus engagements.
Before that I made a living as a litigation lawyer. I left it behind when my wife introduced me to this coding adventure, and I haven't stopped learning a day since. I also make a pretty mean guacamole.

Since I started this journey, I fell in love with this community, I have been able to meet very interesting people, great teams, and each new project is a challenge that I like to face with the greatest responsibility. I use HTML, CSS, a lot of JavaScript, currently applying Node, React and Gatsby.
I'm a great Chef, I love barbecues and I have excellent recipes for pasta, hamburgers and a thousand ways to cook pork! Love cooking for family reunions and for large groups, I love to travel and meet new places, I'm a Star Wars fan and in my free time I build lego with my son.
